2:45 - 4:45 p.m. Diving Deep with the Mermaid

Who is the mermaid to a modern womon? The sea, the ocean, the fens, marshes, streams, creeks, lakes, ponds and rivers all have their spirits; She who manifests as mermaids, sprites, sirens, and others. Through a variety of meditations, we will journey through the waves and into her realm, we will open to her wisdom.
Needed to Bring: dress comfortable, bring a mat, journal and pen. eye mask if it makes meditation more comfortable. Area: 6

2:45 - 5:00 p.m. Drum With the Flow, Part 2
Beverly Nadelman
Presupposing some previous knowlege of hand drumming, this workshop begins with only a quick review and warm-up. We will learn and practice one or more water goddess rhythm and song before consentrating on evolving our own original water related percussion music. Please note the loan of drums by festival attendees who do not plan to take the workshop is greatly appreciated. Area: 2

2:45 - 4:45 p.m. Reverence to Her: A Sizzling Shakti Ceremony for Friday the 13th. Goddess Day Celebration
Donna Henes
Both Friday and the number 13 are associated with the Goddess and are, therefore auspicious and revered among those who worship the Feminine Devine. Together -Her day and Her number - are sacred to Her and to us. Come take back the day for the Goddess! We will drum up Her power as well as our own. Please bring a drum or percussion instrument. Area: Pavillon

2:45 - 4:45 Silk Salt Dye
Kerri Hersch
Come create a beautiful piece of art using silk, salt, dye and a little bit of whimsy. No artistic skill necessary. This is appropriate for all ages and is lots of fun. Wear old clothes. Limited to 30. $5.00 material fee. Upgrades available.  Meet in Dining Hall

In this workshop we will explore the desires of your heart using the water cards in the Voyager Tarot. The Priestess will lead the way, exploring our unconscious drives which serve us and block us. Then we shall create a plan to manifest the dream that emerges. No tarot experience needed, we’ll use the intuition of the Guardian to access our emotional freedom. Area: 4

Using tuning, toning, chant, lullaby, libation, bells and affirmation we will bring our voices into resonance together to weave a vocal net of sound to surround the planet, activate the light, and sweeten the night. Any and all voices welcome. Area: 9

When the Mermaid Sings

We will journey through the deep realms of the ocean’s mysteries where we will seek the songs of the mermaids. We will build together a volume of love and Goddess power. We will experience in a visceral way the tides turning in our hearts as we build energy wave by wave. Use voice, drumming and trance dance we will jubilantly create healing ripples for our inner mermaid to ride. Please bring drums, bells, rhythm instruments and open hearts.
